Acer AT58 Range Announced with Pininfarina design

Acer has announced a new range of LED TVs known as the AT58 range, with a bezel designed by Pininfarina, a name more commonly associated with Italian car design.

According to Acer, most TVs are full of "right angles and straight lines", however its new model has been "softened to harmonise with their surroundings". "The design of Acer AT58 TVs was especially designed by Pininfarina to attract and relax the user", says the company.

Available screen sizes are 20", 23", 27", 32" and 42", and are offered in either a black or white finish. Underneath the designer sheen are some straightforward specs. The screens are Full HD 1080p (apart from the 20" model), there's a USB port on board, up to 100hz refresh rate, 2x HDMIs and there is also a PVR in-built, but you will have to record content to a USB drive.

The Acer AT58 series 20" and 23" models will be available from mid October with an RRP of £229.99 (AT2058ML 20"), £269.99 (AT2358ML 23") and £279.99 (AT2358MLW white 23"). The 27" and 32" will be available in November followed by the 42" in December.
