Samsung offer a huge range of LED TVs across six seperate series in their 2010 ranges. The most basic Samsung LED TVs come in the Series 4 Range, with the TVs becoming increasingly advanced as they move through the 5,6,7,8 and 9 Series. In the 2009 range, the Samsung 7,8 and 9 series were purely LED TVs. However, the 2010 range of series 7,8 and 9 LED TVs include 3D TV capabilities. Samsung Series 4 LED TV Models
Samsung Series 4 LED TVs can be identified by either having 4000 or 4010 in the model number. The 4000 and 4010 units offer a screen size of 22", the smallest available in the Samsung LED TV ranges. The Samsung Series 4 LED TVs typically offer two HDMI ports, a scart socket and USB port. They also have a built-in Freeview tuner, but only offer a HD resolution of 1366x768 (720p).
Samsung Series 5 LED TV Models
Samsung Series 5 LED TVs can be identified by either having 5100 or 5810 in the model number. The 5100 and 5800 models offer an improved specification, as well as larger range of screen sizes from 32"-46". Samsung 5 Series LED TVs typically offer four HDMI ports, a scart socket, USB port, 50Hz refresh rate, and full 1080p HD screen resolution. While the 5100 models offer a built-in Freeview tuner, the 5800 models have a built-in Freeview HD tuner, allowing you to make the most of the full 1080p the Samsung Series 5 LED TVs offer.
Samsung Series 6 LED TV Models
Samsung Series 6 LED TVs can be identified by either having 6000, 6505, 6510, 6530 or 6620 in the model number. The Samsung Series 6 LED TV range is packed with features, including a 100Hz refresh rate, full 1080p HD screen resolution, as well as four HDMI ports, two USB ports (except the 6620 models) and a scart socket.
The Samsung 6000 and 6505 models have a built-in Freeview HD tuner, with the 6505 models available in huge 55" and 65" screen sizes.
Samsung 6510 models offer a white surround, but only have a standard definition Freeview tuner.
The Samsung 6530 and 6620 include Freeview HD, with the 6620 having a "wood grain" effect surround to really make it stand out from the crowd!
